Gary Tooth founded Empire Design Studio in 1998. Prior to that he was a design director at CKS | US Web (Washington D.C.), an art director at Doyle Partners (New York) and designer at Roundel Design Group (London). He graduated from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design with a BA (Hons) in 1988. His work has appeared in AIGA, Art Directors Club of New York, D&AD (UK), Design Week (UK), Food & Wine, ID Magazine, The Type Directors Club, Print Magazine, Harperžs Bazaar, The New York Times, Nylon, PDN Magazine, Rolling Stone, Tokion and Vanity Fair.
